This brain tanned moosehide was gifted to me by my Grandmother, which was gifted to her by my Grandfathers Mother. She is almost 99 years old living today, and this leather she says belonged to either her Mother, or her Aunt. That makes this piece almost 100 years old at least! Passed between 4 generations of Métis family 😊❤️ 

Pieces made with brain tanned leather are going to be priced a bit higher, due to the love and labor that goes into brain tanning a hide. 😊
